Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AJS SOLUTIONS ("WeightMission", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use WeightMission. Sensitive wellness/health information is also covered by our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which takes precedence for that category of data.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account/contact information: name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Quiz responses: your goal, activity level, eating patterns, food preferences and restrictions, cooking habits, previous weight-loss attempts, consistency challenges, sleep, and motivation.
• Demographic information: age and sex, used to estimate energy needs.
• Body metrics: height, current weight, goal weight, and ongoing weigh-ins.
• Wellness/safety questionnaire answers: including whether you indicate pregnancy, recent childbirth, or a history of disordered eating, used solely to adjust the guidance you receive — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
• Photos you upload: meal, restaurant menu, or fridge photos submitted to our AI assistants.
• AI Coach conversations: messages you send to, and receive from, the Personal AI Coach.
• Subscription and payment metadata: plan selected, billing status, and transaction identifiers from our payment processor (Mollie). We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Device/technical information: IP address, browser/user agent, and similar technical data.
• Analytics and attribution data: pages viewed, product events (e.g. quiz started/completed), and marketing attribution (e.g. which ad or campaign referred you), including advertising identifiers where applicable.

How we use this information

• To provide the Service: build your personalized plan, power the Personal AI Coach and meal/menu/fridge assistants, and track your progress.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you (account, billing, and product emails).
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including rate-limiting and fraud prevention.
• To measure and improve the Service and our marketing, using aggregated analytics and attribution data.
• To comply with legal obligations.

AI processing

Your quiz responses, profile, and messages are sent to a third-party AI model provider (Anthropic) to generate the Personal AI Coach's responses and to analyze meal/menu/fridge photos. See our Health & AI Disclaimer for the limitations of AI-generated content.

Service providers

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

• Mollie — payment processing.
• Anthropic — AI model provider for the Coach and photo assistants.
• OVH — transactional email delivery (SMTP).
• Our hosting/database infrastructure provider.
• Advertising/analytics partners (e.g. Meta) for limited, non-health business events — see the "Advertising data" section below.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising data (Meta and similar platforms)

We send a small set of business events (e.g. that a signup or paid subscription occurred) to advertising platforms to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These events may include your email (hashed before sending) and payment amount/currency. We do not send your weight, goal weight, BMI, quiz/safety answers, eating-disorder or pregnancy-related information, AI Coach conversation content, or meal-photo contents to any advertising platform.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your health/wellness content (weigh-ins, meals, photos, AI Coach conversations, profile) and anonymize your account record. We retain subscription/payment records and non-identifying analytics for legitimate business, financial, and legal purposes for longer where required.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), salted password hashing, session security, rate-limiting, and access controls restricting who can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can exercise these rights from your Account page, by deleting your account directly, or by visiting our privacy request page. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Children's privacy

WeightMission is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at hello@weightmission.com and we will delete it.

International data processing

WeightMission is operated for users in the United States. Some of our service providers may process data outside the United States; where this occurs, we require appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and where changes are material, provide additional notice.
